Science Olympiad is one of the nation's premier STEM competitions, featuring 23 unique events. Teams of 15 students compete in these events in pairs or groups of 3. The events cover various topics such as chemistry, physics, life science, and engineering.
Some events require building a physical apparatus, while others may require lab work. Science Olympiad promotes scientific literacy and fosters students' passion for STEM by exposing them to various scientific subjects and disciplines.
Novi Science Olympiad aims towards success. To achieve success, we must be able to work effectively as a team. Our goal is to have each and every member on our team deepen their knowledge in scientific topics, while at the same time preparing themselves to proficiently express this knowledge in the numerous competitions we will participate in this year. This goal can only be achieved when hard work, discipline and dedication are fostered within our community. Team members will be expected not only to push themselves but to also help their fellow teammates meet their goals and progress in their learning. As a team, we will have multiple parties and events throughout the year to have fun and more importantly form deeper friendships with each other. This friendship, paired with a shared dedication towards our team, is what will enable us to achieve greater success.
